For shops running Gerber AccuMark
We read your AccuMark files.
Pattern pieces, size charts, grade rules and naming conventions. AMI works from the archive you already have, so nothing gets re-digitised.
The format
AccuMark is proprietary and has no published specification. It was built for one program to open, not for anyone to learn from. We reverse-engineered it without vendor tooling, which is what lets AMI work across a whole archive instead of one file at a time.
Grade rules
In AAMA, grade rules live in a separate .RUL file. A DXF exported without it loses the grading and arrives base size only. AMI reads the rule tables with the pieces, so the size run survives the trip.
What comes back
A graded DXF in AAMA or ASTM, or the style written straight back into AccuMark, with cut line, sew line and seam allowance on every piece.
Looking for an alternative?
If you are pricing AccuMark or thinking about leaving it, you may not need to. AMI works next to it. It reads the archive, drafts and grades new styles, and writes them back, so the pattern room keeps working where it already works.
Your archive
Your patterns remain yours. Data terms are agreed in writing before you upload anything. You control what gets uploaded and who can query it.
No archive yet
You can start on our specs instead. Having a digitised archive makes AMI better, but it is not the price of entry.
